Saxony is a land of art in which the great traditions continue to this day. Its cultural landscape is lastingly shaped by the work of numerous artists.
The long-term goal of this database, initiated by the Saxon State Ministry of Science and Art, is to present as comprehensively as possible the entire spectrum of contemporary visual art in Saxony.
The digital documentation is intended to promote the preservation of the cultural heritage, open it up as a source for art research and make it permanently and freely accessible to anyone interested.
